About Us
The story behind Adams Customs began long before it had a name, tracing back to 1988, when Todd “Dad” Adams bought a 1953 Chevrolet 3100 in high school. With his father, he turned it into one of the world's first extended-cab 3100s. Classic truck restoration became his lifelong hobby and passion, which he passed down to his two sons.
Tyler and Bryce Adams have been in the garage since before they could walk. Todd taught them everything he knew, and through years of hands-on experience and tireless work ethic, they have become true experts in their craft.
Adams Customs is a family-run shop with no employees. With the exception of stitching seats, every part of each build is handled by Tyler and Bryce themselves. Bryce is an award-winning painter, while Tyler brings expertise in design, assembly, and the details that bring each build together. Together, they are known for doing builds right while maintaining impressive timelines.
